fantasy football

so Im starting a blog about fantasy football. For the last 2 years I have dominated my leagues. 2 years in a row now Ive won my fantasy championships.

For me its easy because I love football...I watch every game I can. Im always reading NFL.com and watching NFL network. I feel that Michael Fabiano is the worst person to listen to with regards to your fantasy team. The guy will ruin your team...don't listen to his advice!
How to build a championship team? First it starts with a good draft...I like to do a few mock drafts so I get the feel for navigating the draft board, and also to mock draft at each spot 1-10 or 1-12 to see where certain players will land.

I also like to do my own rankings because certain players are always too high or low with NFL.com rankings. I try to pick logically with who I think will be the best players, but I also choose with my heart, some players I love like Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson. Some players I hate, like Michael Vick and Tony Romo. So that affects my rankings and has always served me well.
I have a gameplan ready for my all around draft and micro gameplans for each spot I'll be picking at, I usually do 1 standard 10 team league and 1 custom 12 team league. I target certain players and almost know which spots they will land...I don't really like to have to reach for players, would rather they fall in my lap. Your draft order will be very important...I hate picking first or last, cause then the pressure is on to make 2 choices in a row and a long wait between picks. I like to pay attention to what the other players are picking during the draft, but is more important to keep up your quarry and adding guys that might fall to your next pick.

Keep an eye on bye weeks when drafting, but not a huge deal...theres always free agent waiver-wire guys to pick up. I always wait for my last 2 picks before I get my kicker and defense/special teams. For me they are just spots I can drop and pickup as needed. I like to stack my Rbs, Wrs and have an elite Qb before I get anything else. Although last year I did snatch up Gronkowski because he fell to me in one of my drafts. So bookmark this blog, Im going to be adding a lot to it for the upcoming season. Good Luck!
